Polytetrafluoroethylene, fluoroplast-4 is also widely known under the trade name Teflon in the customary terminology. Polytetrafluoroethylene is an ethylene polymer in which all hydrogen atoms are replaced by fluorine. Due to this bond, the polymer has an excellent combination of physical and chemical qualities that cannot be found in any other material.
POM-C is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic material and is characterized by a low friction coefficient and a good degree of wear resistance. Furthermore, it is not affected by wet environments. POM has excellent resistance to a wide range of chemicals including many solvents.
YKTG Company uses POM-copolymer, Teflon (PTFE) and other innovative polymers to manufacture filter holders for membrane filters. According to their physicochemical characteristics these materials are optimal for use in laboratories and in the conditions of chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Qualities of polymers used in the manufacturing process allow our wares to contact food and medical products as well as the most aggressive substances.
